Mate backed off after not making it past the niche low down. Possible flake on the floor which may have been in it.
Would like to know if someone else has done a recent ascent

Did it around about the same time as you I guess - just recall that the layaway on the upper half of the wall looked like it might come away from the wall if you fell on the gear.... just shut my eyes and hoped. May be it's now come away bit it's quite large so would have expected to see someone under it if it had
