13m. One of the better routes at Scout Scar with good rock and sustained, flowing climbing. The initial moves to pass the first bolt and gain a poor rest at the break are desperate. Another technical sequence up and left gains the lower-off. Direct Finish, 7a - Go straight up after the third bolt. USER COMMENTS
hard for 6c+ especially getting to the jug and t leaving it!
Felt more like 7a+ to me (there is a recent looking rock scar between the first two bolts so I guess a hold may have vanished!) |
