A steep and rarely-formed route, but one that can give an alternative finish to Central Icefall Direct when the icicle hasn't touched down
1) 5, 35m. Climb the steep left-hand icefall to a ledge on the right on top of the pedestal
2) 6, 40m. Move left to regain the icefall. Climb this, belay on the right under the overhangs
3) 6, 30m. Skirt the overhang on the left, then head diagonally back right above. Continue as far as the rope will allow to belay well back.
