<< Cracking Up < Travesty | Blender Head > El Mancho >>
A classic winter outing. If the chimney is devoid of ice it can be skirted to the right
1) 3, 50m. Climb the long slanting gully and belay at the base of the chimney/pillar
2) 6, 15m. Climb the steep chimney, the more ice the better, to a chockstone belay
3) 4, 25m. An icy wall leads to a leftward slanting slab.
It is also possible to thrutch up the chimney if there is not enough ice to climb the icy wall by the entrance, hard work but fun!
