23m. A good route. Follow Lunatic up the initial groove and pull straight up the steep wall past a bolt to rejoin Lunatic. Move up left to a ledge and then rightwards across the steep wall to gain a hanging groove (on Darth Vadar). Follow this to the top USER COMMENTS
Triky prick ears has now been fully bolted by myself and Toby Denny. The consensus on the grade seems to be 7a+/7b. It's a great pitch and would get three stars if not for the rest below the Lunatic groove. Ian Cooksey.
A really high quality route with lots of excellent climbing at 7b standard.
Good climbing with a height dependent crux easy 7b seems fair.
Excellent climbing in some great positions on very good rock. Spoilt slightly by the hands of rest 2/3 of the way up, but still worth 7b. Reachy crux lowdown (unless you're Lee's height...) |
