When viewed from the mainland, the long seaward edge of Hella Point is an irresistible line. The approach and the climb itself combine to provide a classic outing at the grade. Start on a small ledge below a slab at the base of the arete..
1) 4a, 17m. Climb the slab to a large ledge and belay..
2) 14m. Climb the chimney and move up over blocks to a good ledge and belay..
3) 4b, 12m. Boulder up the wall above the ledge and continue up a chimney to finish. Scramble off and reverse the approach back to the mainland.
