22m. One of the first of the modern routes up the blanker section of the Great Buttress. Sparsely bolted, but a few wires and a small Friend for the top crack will take the sting out of the run-outs. Follow Andriod to half way across its traverse and then climb directly to its final steep flake crack, via some long moves and a couple of bolts. Lower off. USER COMMENTS
Unless this has been rebolted in the last 4 or 5 years this is definitely not a sport route, the in situ gear is very poor and spaced and there is little other gear, think E5 maybe.
This route is now fully rebolted and has a lower off at the top of Android. The grade is medium 7a. Ian Cooksey & Rob Knight
A very good route, perfect rock, interesting climbing , nicely bolted and worth three stars! |
