A fine pitch that passes a cave entrance at mid height. A tough finishing move and a holdless flowstone groove are the main problems to be encountered. USER COMMENTS
Desperate finishing moves with a holdless flowstone groove and difficult reach to the belay.
Ditto above, rather reachy in the final groove, maybe worth 6c+(especially for the vertically challenged)- climbed in Aug02.
I failed to spot the crucial unchalked pocket on the crux and blew it. It is do-able if you're short, but it's tough for the grade
Yeah I wrote in and said the same as Paul back in 98 or round then when it was given 6c.
I thought the finish was straightforward once I had spotted the climbers' staple that takes you out left to good pockets (as opposed to the cavers' eco-anchor which suggests going straight up). No lower-off - I used the single cavers' eco-anchor, which should be pretty bombproof. The solution to the groove is cunning... |
