22m. The lower wall has now cleaned up nicely which has increased the quality of the climb. The finish is as good as it has always been. Not in current guidebook.

Very soft dusty rock most of the way but the good moves make up for this
The lower wall is pretty clean now. Its a good route and a tad low in the grade.
Still losing stuff off the bottom section, and may even be a touch harder than last year, as i saw to ( they broke off ) a couple of the better holds this weekend.
Very dusty when I climbed it today, and a little snappy too.
If the route is chalked it may not appear too crumbly - the decent holds are solid enough. I climbed it in its unchalked state and spent the first half of the climb blindly grabbing handfulls of sand. Did Bad Moon Rising three days earlier - it's bizarre that both routes get the same star rating.
Bottom half very dirty. A couple of good moves at the top, which make it worth a star.
Bottom half now fairly solid. Top vicious committing and brilliant
The new route to the left (with two variations going through the roof) is fantastic. I met a French bloke who told me he bolted it and thought it was about 7b/7b+. I think it is harder (perhaps 7c) with the left variation being a bit harder than the righ one.
French Connection is the line to left finishing right, bolted by shakey french man Yann, 7b+ was proposed.
good line. Wasnt to impressed with it a year ago when i had a very brief look! met some friends end of the day today, got on it as they were already working it! Very good, has cleaned up well! great top wall, bit commiting, but adds to the enjoyment of the route in my opinion
Did this two days ago. Bottom section still very dusty, rock quality felt pretty bad too. Lower wall felt like the most difficult part of the route. Still it's a good route! |
