Not as dirty as it once was, but the line is prone to dust being washed down from above. A tricky rightward finish to the lower-off of Downtown Julie Brown - is 6c+. USER COMMENTS
Would be quite enjoyable if it weren't for the dust in the lower section.
Was clean when I did it last weekend!
Did it again and its well clean, worth a star.
A total bag even if clean!
Definitely a bag....nasty, very dirty, mantel onto belay ledge made interesting by 3" covering of loose mud. Don't bother!
couldnt agree more, a total pile.
Don't think it is that bad! Something moving in the lower bit, but nothing dangerous, mostly dust. Globally a nice climb, quite well bolted. I think it's a good 6a+.
I agree with the last comment. A good 6a+ with nice moves at the top. Well worth a star.
Still quite dusty, particularly in the lower half. Pretty well protected on the awkward crux though, pretty good route.
As long as you are aware of the dust, you will appreciate this route; crux seems to be a sketchly lackback leading to a bomber flake. Well protected at that crux.
urgh. First route back at Portland after 6 months sports climbing in Europe and Oz- bit of a shock! Nasty, dirty, crumbly. Retreated from the first bolt covered from head to foot in dust having showered my belayer with various holds. Can't believe this gets a star!
Generally quite dusty a very dirty at the top but I enjoyed climbing it.
a bit minging rock. not nice moves higher up |
