The arete and slab to the right of the deep cleft has some dubious holds and has, unfortunately, still not cleaned up like many of the routes on this wall have.

Some people are desperate to get their names in the book!
Ed - 10/Jul/01

Several less dubious holds after we climbed it!
John Wellbelove - 13/Oct/03

And one more little hold snapped off on the top section on my attempt (1st Nov 03). I'm just too heavy !
PS You should stay on route at the top, as the easier rock to the right is clearly loose. My second sent a large lump down at me when he opted for the less direct approach.
Alaric - 22/Dec/03

one of the few routes hereabouts to
deserve a bag symbol, utter crap
nealh - 29/Sep/04

Fine if you like climbing mud.
Richard Horn - 13/Jun/05

Another dubious hold parted company with the route - along with the climber standing on it.
I actually thought the lower half of the route was quite good and clean. Is the route cleaning up with traffic ;o)
Ben Stokes - 15/Jun/08

Quite good fun in a weird kind of way. Character building.
Richard Dagnan - 21/Jul/10
