A pleasing pitch which is fairly reasonable at the grade if the correct sequence is unlocked. Toughest at the top. USER COMMENTS
The earth below this route seems to have fallen away substantially, leaving the moves to the first bolt both exposed and above a very nasty drop. The top "slab" moves are now very lichenous, and particularly greasy of it has been wet. When (if) I get a moment I intend (1) to add a bolt for the start (and at the same time sort out "Dirty Cow") and (2) clean the top. Once that's done I would be sceptical about a 7a grade - 6c+?
There are harder 6cs on the island! The first clip is OK.
Tom's right, its a path.
Nice route but 6c+ at most. Needs another 1st bolt.
Maybe the 7a bit is finding the best holds in the confusing kaleidescope of shells in mud. Surprisingly solid and steady climbing with a little move at the top.
Thought it was 6a!!!! |
