Brilliant route, but probably not E1. My 1st deep water solo but definatly not my last!!
Climbed this one and all other possible lines/variations. I don't think its 5b, more like 4b or 4c! Shouldn't this be given an XS and S1 grade as with other DWS in the area?
I traversed right from the start of Bolt Factory then moved up diagonally rightwards. If you stick to the blankest section of the slab it's probably about 5a.
Starting from the boulder at the right hand end of the slab makes this far easier and opens up the rest of the slab to have fun on. |
