Felt hard. Maybe because I was expecting a 6b and not a 6c! The crux is either reachy, technical or maybe just dynamic?

Used a Frog to get the clip. Without I would have been well scared. Lanky crocker what were you thinking? Good moves though.

Thought the moves merited 6b+ - seen the moves off the ledge done 2 different ways now. However, I the route did have draws in so I can't comment about reachy clips!

There's no way this is 6c. There's nothing harder than a 5c move - it's all about good footwork.
Benchmark 6b, along with One For The Gipper and Inch Perfect (another bad re-grade).
By the way, the line in the 2005 Dorset guide is WAY off for this route. It's about 3m right and trends right, not left.
This also puts the Bawdy House line way off too.

Done the crux section both ways,both English 6a. Best sequence on L wall of groove, subtle pocket pulling + high step up.

Great fun. To make it to the clip I felt I had to fully commit. Nice footwork, nice pockets. Overall 6c.

Did this years ago and again recently. I reckon 6b+ (the original grade) is about right. You've just got to go for it, forget the clip until you have the break - exciting.
