The narrow slab is easy enough if started from the corner on the right. The direct start shown by the line on the Rockfax topo diagram is nearer 4c.
Agree with the previous comment - not diff if the line in the Rockfax is climbed. Pleasant route, though.

Why dictate that left or right evasion must be climbed? The direct centre start does exist, not obvious, perhaps 4c, as suggested by Steve in first user comment. Chris
The climbing is fairly easy once on the slab, although I couldnt find any gear placements
Best reason for the evasion start is that the slab above while balancy is VD at best - so fits with a start nearer that grade. Direct start (I agree with 4c, FWIW) is a one-move wonder route. |
