Super sustained. Every move is tricky and there isn't even a semi rest at any point!
There are two good shake-outs on it. One after the initial wall, almost no-hands, and a good shake on the flat jug at the top. Its also easier to read, hence the difference in grade to Sweet Smell
Very, very good. Sustained with good climbing. There are numerous good shake outs on the route, but I'm not going to spoil it and tell you...The consensous is 7b thouugh.
Oh I forgot, the direct start hasn't been bolted so use the old start (The one now used by Stone Cold Sober)
This is a fantastic route with very varied climbing. A steep, juggy start then technical climbing leading to a more fingery finish.
really good line! had to wait all winter for it to come into condition minus the famous portland ming! amazing climbing! definite classic! steep at the start getting steadily more technical as you climb higher. Feels long! good route and very on-sightable! wait until later afternoon for the redpoint when grease it at its least deadly |
