The Water Margin
<< Orca < Riders in the Chariot | Nameless > That's Where I'll Be >>
This long and adventurous sea-level traverse gives a great day out with some good positions and absorbing climbing. It follows the gently curving horizontal break that begins where the routes stop on LPT. The start can only be reached at low tide but after that it is above the water. First section) 5a 100m(ish). Gain the break and follow it rightwards, taking belays as required until you reach a narrow zawn. Finish 1) 20m. Climb the arete on this side of the zawn easily to the top. Finish 2) 5b 40m. Gain the opposite wall and climb back up to the break. Follow this around into the next zawn (belay and possible escape upwards here). Make a long stride across onto the far wall of this zawn and climb the excellent wall to finish.
