25m. The big full-height arete is a fantastic line. Climb it mainly on its right-hand side. Great moves and still a touch friable. Not in current guidebook.

The chasm behind this pillar appears to be widening, and the large cap-stone has fallen down- only a matter of time before this fall down?
Andy Long said the same to me. He thought the route was now unjustifiable.

The central part of this route now appears to have fallen down (their is a block with a bolt in it at the base), although the main part of the pillar is still standing.
American Beauty has certainly had a face lift.. 3 bolts missing along with the rock which housed them... |
