Superb climbing. Follow a crack and groove left of an arete. There is a tricky move near the top. USER COMMENTS
So over-rated. Horrible flint climbing to start, followed by a sandy upper section.
One of the best easy routes on Portland
Sorry Ben, its great.
Got to agree with Ben. Disgustingly greasy start followed by a rockover and wall so sandy you might as well be rolling aroung on the beach. Don't know why it gets any stars at all!
Awfully high first clip when greasy (typical before 1500). Pleasant above
Easily the best route in this quartet. Quality climbing throughout. Yes, the first clip is a long way off the deck - particularly if damp. I had no problem with the 'sandy' rock - all the holds are very positive.
Good route BUT very greasy and sandy holds. And very high first bolt.
Tis fine
great route but probably 6a+.. Or maybe it was really greasy at the start and i got freaked by the high bolt...?
cool and varied route, pretty 'out there' climbing for the grade, much harder if slick so whole wall best left for later in the day. |
