very thuggy start
Nice powerful start (look out in greasy conditions) and a superb slab above.
A great route, very contrasting, with tricky first moves
Didn't have the power/reach to get from the slopey jug to the undercut in the roof, so dogged it. Went back on a top rope and still couldn't do the move despite many attempts. Very frustrating as it's otherwise a good (though tough for the grade route).
The steep moves to the roof feel about 6c+, as you have to crank quite hard with long reaches to reach the right holds (I'm 5'8"), but thereafter, the moves seem no harder than 6b+. A superb route with great rock. |
