This description is also wrong, Microbe is the crack with the pocket in the centre of the wall. The route described here is a 5a problem.
this is described as a 5a problem in the old definitive guide, but is more like 5b/c, and a bit rubbish.
the actual route with the pockets and stuff is one of the neatest little micros i've ever climbed.
The starting hold was broken off by a rather stout chap whose strength was clearly not matched by technique. It's now slightly harder - more like V3 - but thankfully still climbs very nicely. |
