A fine climb - one of the best on the east coast - that climbs the orange sheet of flowstone which is usually chalked up. USER COMMENTS
Lack of line, sharp holds, dusty lower rock and scrappy rock all detract from this route. Good, but not one of Portlands, or Oxley's, finest.
This route is worth every penny - a very consistently sustained line with no rests makes it an endurance benchmark
Do not agree with you stp. This is a fantastic line with good rock, moves, position, setting etc.
Don't agree with stp either. Some of the holds feel rather soapy - not sure whether it's always like that. Otherwise a superb route and well worth seeking out.
Magical climbing, sustained all the way with a definate crux 'super fingery' just when you don't want it in the top groove...
The route to the left is CRUISE CONTROL** 6a+. It is possible to top out from this route.
Funny enough, I just recommended to someone to go and bolt this line! Nice one Brian, is it yours? |
