An impressive line up the steep orange scoop, gained by swinging right from the third bolt on Fireblade. Could be 8a. USER COMMENTS
An under rated route. If the bottom section where slightly cleaner it would be one of portlands best, and if it sees more traffic this should happen.... go do! Have been on this route a few times over the years, and from vague memory think a flake hold under the roof just before you traverse right has broken/detereated. This hold used to provide a shake inbetween two cruxes of the route, but with this gone its a lot more sustained. This route to me feels very worthy of the 8a grade, and a lot more attention. |
