Much better than some routes that get two stars - e.g. Valerian, Weird Shit Keep Drilling... even Do You Like Our Owls? gets one star!! Much better than has been previously given credit.

Compared to most of the long, dusty, cherty routes at Wallsend and Blacknor, I'd rather climb this sort of thing any day - solid, steep flowstone with one line of holds up it.

Of the routes in The Ditch this was my favourite - but no way is it 2 star (1 star perhaps), and comparing to Thread Flintstone is just silly. Jim - the routes you mention are overstarred on here...

Over starred in the rockfax? never... I'll have none of that talk. It is a well researched and thorough piece of climbing literature. There are no mistakes; none that matter anyway, eg topos, route lengths, emergency details, etc, etc ;)
