Start up Pedestal Crack then step left to a tricky groove.
The crucial flake for the right hand now sounds suspiciously hollow.
I found stepping off the pedestal a bit foreboding as there did not seem to be much to get on to, or to protect the move. I found the groove tricky too. I don't know if it's a little undergraded or it was just me climbing badly though.
Fully agree with the comments above. The step from the pedestal is bold as is the groove above. Really tricky to be honest. VS 4c is a bit light for this fiend!
I've only recently started leading VS, but I disagree that this is under-graded. The hard sections are short and reasonably well protected, though admittedly the groove is a bit desperate. I found Slip Road a lot harder, mentally at least.
