From the lowest point of the wall, climb the jamming crack then step left and take a brace of cracks. Hard work!
You get a bit of a shock if you climb Exodus then try this one. A pretty tough HVS.
who pur E1, if you can leave the ground you've done the route. and two stars for a boulder problem with some HS climbing above?
ignore the above. ive not done it, i meant perforation a bit further north, sorry
Put your forearms on Def Con 5 for this one! just two rests - one at the bottom and one at the top. Not as many jugs as it appears from the bottom either so make sure you've got enough in the tank to place the gear after committing to the cracks above the step left.
what a quality route.lead this yesterday, for me it deserves e1 status immediately, shxt miself 3 times ....great.
I agree with MeMeMe, I led Exodus and found it a bit pumpy, then my mate climbed this and I struggled to second it, then I led Leviticus next door. Deuteronomy is definitely the hardest of the three.
Stopped me in my tracks. Don't even want to go back and have another go!
Bloody awkward and hard work from the off. What appear to be bomber jams or side pulls aren't and there are no real rests either. Bomber gear is the only consolation ! gritstone HVS.
