A great little expedition. Climb Rough Boys then move right and up before traversing rightwards across the lip of the big upper roof. Finish straight up. USER COMMENTS
easy climbing to the roof lip then quite technical and a bit thin to figure out the best way to traverse and go up the wall until you reach the jugs and the angle backs off again. gear is disappointingly sparse and not that confidence inspiring but the difficulties don't last long enough to worry unduly!
This is an excellent route, deserving of its two stars. The move to get established above the lip of the big roof is tricky but after that, although intimidating, the traverse right is not hard. I thought it was well-protected but perhaps requires a bit of experience to spot the good gear. The top out above the route is very friable but it is possible to traverse left to a solid bit. |
