6c, S1. A great introduction to this sector for soloists. From the ledge gain a secondary small shelf then head leftwards to an arete and corner. Tricky low down.

Err, this description is very wrong. The one in the Rockfax is correct, although the topo isn't. The route finishes leftwards onto a big ledge, not straight up the friable stuff as suggested on the topo. Good route though; technical with a crux at 45 feet and fantastic rock. Harder for the short. Should have an equivalant French grade of F6b.

The hardest of the 3 DWS E3s in this sector.
Quite tricky - really good though!

Easier adjectivally and more enjoyable than Fathoms. Technical climbing with no distinct crux but a lot of tricky bits with some respite in between.

Definitely finished leftwards, I tried to go straight up on the crud and nearly pulled a breezeblock sized chunk off.
