Did I miss something?? Seemed much harder to me.
I think the guidebook's got the grades in the wrong order. From left to right, the routes are VD, D, Mod.
The whole slab seemed liked Mod???
Sandbag! much harder than the grade suggests...
I'd say it was more like Severe sticking to the left arete, with not much gear, and fairly pointless climbing. Any further right and you're on Black Slab Centre, much nicer.

Quite polished, I backed off the solo having soloed other stuff from D-HS the same day, way harder than Diff IMO! |
