Technical and bold wall climbing up the committing face 5m right of August Angie. Move up and pass a break in the roof. Trend right to a (peg) at a flake then run it out direct to a ledge (possible belay). Finish heading rightwards across a short blank wall to a clean-cut exit. Low in the grade. USER COMMENTS
Good route, not E4 though just a steady head required as all holds are good, but if faced with a situation would not like to trust the flakes gear is behind. Finger jug missing just above roof but still plenty of holds to go on.
This is a very good, varied route but would absolutely terrific if not split by the massive ledge. I thought the gear at the peg was totally convincing and then, just at the point above this that falling off becomes really unattractive, the climbing eases. So, a bit bold but in a friendly way. Surely not E4; I thought it was a pretty relaxed E3. |
