A fine, hard eliminate on Yellow Wall. Follow a shallow groove, left of the normal start, past a bulge. Continue more easily to the downward-pointing spike on Yellow Wall. Step right, boldly climb the wall to the fault-line, then pass the roof above (peg) to gain an undercut block on Yellow Wall. Finish direct, exiting up a white wall right of a broken groove. Somewhat harder and more serious than E4, the rock is poor in places and with it the gear. The 'lovely pockets' section which turned out to be non-existant apart from a single mono. Good route to climb once. |
