I'm guessing the left hand arete (for the crux move)is off limits for the grade - or is this allowed? Anyone whose done this route care to comment..

When Mike did it he made a long reach up and left for a poor sidepull. I failed on this move!

The arete is off-limits.

Following the clearing of ivy to the left of the route using the arête seems less off-route than it did before. I now think the route is a pleasant 6c+ with the left arête, and a graunchy 7a+ without!!! Either way the route isn't 7a.
