Adjacent Routes 14m. Climb the left arete of the recess and the crack above to the foot of the groove. This gives a steep and exciting finish with the trickiest moves to pass the jutting overhang. USER COMMENTS
Good route overall. Felt this was a bit of a soft touch at 4c, but it definitely requires commitment in a few places. Found the initial slabby section harder than the 'offical' crux.
great route. lots of variety in one climb. Good protection throughout.
Superb. Crux was definitely getting off the ground. A nicer 'line' than the right-hand version.
I agree - superb. Very varied - slab, cave, corner, layback. I also agree that getting off the ground is the most difficult part. Luckily one can stand on the ground and place a nut in the crack to make the initial flailing amusing and not threatening.
A very decent climb, thought VS 4c is absolutely spot on. Protection is excellent throughout. |
