A fine climb which follows an absorbing line up the buttress. Climb the short corner, then pull left onto a slab. Trend diagonally up left then direct to the main break. Move up a steep crack above to the next break then step back right before finishing up a well-positioned groove. Solitary stake belay a long way back. USER COMMENTS
lovely climb, worth it's stars, the 5a move feels really good. there ain't much to belay form at the top though, and it's a bit of a scramble to get back down.
Very nice. Enjoyed it a lot.
A fine adventure on generally good interesting rock (although beware a couple of big hollow things), and probably the second best HVS on quarried Peak lime (after Joint Effort and excepting Stoney). Well worth bringing the gear for, and two ropes and a lot of extenders. Really needs an extra stake at the top. |
