A fine and devious companion to Rocky Variations up the rock to its right. Start as for Rocky Variations, but trend rightwards up the slab. Make tough moves past the roof at its right-hand edge and continue to ledges. Pull up and right and finish up easier ground. USER COMMENTS

A brilliant example of the surprising quality found lurking in these quarries. Although the line is pretty average, the rock is almost entirely excellent and there's scarcely a bad move on it. The reachiness is perhaps the crux move of clipping the 3rd bolt!
Loved this route, no problems with the reach.
Great moves & rock. Starting up Rocky Variations for two bolts is worthwhile, making the thing a bit more sustained and probably the best 6b in the Peak. The top move off the jugs and crimp is a gem. |
