The blocky arete leads to a ledge. Step left and use the trees to reach a belay ledge, or go direct at 4b. A top section can be done up the pillar and flake-crack right of a tree at scruffy 4b. USER COMMENTS
this route is shite, even if you do the (uprotected) arete the lower section is a mere scramble.
Quite a pleasant if bold lower arete. The top pitch is a lot harder and ends in nettles and other assorted vegetation
Please note that the tree mentioned in the description has been removed/gardened, and the last section of the arete is now extremely exposed and blank (gearless) for a HVD, and the escape is also somewhat intimidating. The abseil down the gully is now nicely clear, though...
Bit of a non-route. The corner has been extensively gardened and is about Diff. The arete is a bit vague and only become worthwhile if you follow it to the ledge - bold VS 4b |
