An excellent outing, climbing a long-abandoned project up the centre of some impressively steep ground. Climb the pillar between the caves to a jug (peg and thread). A series of hard moves through blocky bulges lead to good holds on the left shoulder (peg) then continue up a steep groove (thread) to a small roof below the leaning headwall. Finish up the hard finger-crack which is climbed on the right with the help of holds in the vague groove. Shady all day and stays dry in the rain, kneepad useful.
