Adjacent Routes Climb the groove to the right of the main slab towards a tree. Step left before you reach it, onto an arete, and climb this to the tree to belay - quite bold. Abseil off. USER COMMENTS
Atrocious.
Some large rocks have been moved away from the base of the groove towards the lane. How or why is a mystery but the start of this route has changed. (See also comments on The Actress/The Bishop.
There is no way this route is VS 4c, perhaps because of the changes Pete mentions? It's a one move wonder with a scramble start. HS 4b max. I thought it was okay as a warm up though, as doesn't suffer from the polish the other routes have - certainly not atrocious ;)

The one move may have just got harder due to my second inadvertently removing the odd foothold. A strange little route and not too stable at the top. |
