10m. Another technical tease. Start below and right of a slight rib and scrape up the lower bulges to an easier finish.

classic grit.....E1 6a always has been always will be, learn to climb!
matt b - 12/Jan/03

i agree. an exercise in pain tolerance more than anything.
nick v - 03/Aug/03

Ridiculously hard without the arete or boulder to the right. Having warmed up flashing Sleepwalker then Daydreamer, I couldn't come close to this despite dozens of efforts in good conditions. If this is English 6a, Satin is English 5b.
Fiend - 10/Mar/07

The boulder and arete are definitely out.
Graham Hoey - 16/Apr/07

Fiend - dodgy sequence maybe?
Kieran - 04/Mar/09

Yes it was. I was trying super-direct (which I've heard is closer to English 6c), rather than coming in slightly from the right using the better holds. E2 6b in the definitive guide IIRC.
Fiend - 06/May/09

Lost a pebble (the 'juggy' one up and left) a couple of years ago and is now slightly harder. Doesn't climb as nicely, is more like 6b than 6a (though it was always on the cusp), but still a great problem.
