Adjacent Routes 14m. Start as for Birthday Climb (a bit of a boulder problem) but follow the excellent steep fissure through the overhang and up the face above, on solid jams throughout. USER COMMENTS
The crux is definitely going through the overhang: good jamming technique required. Can feel necky when leaning out round the overhang. Good route.
A superb crux move that can be tackled in a variety of ways.
Why VS? The crux, though slightly intimidating, is short and well protected, and the rest is much easier. HS 4b surely.
Why VS? Cos it definitely is VS getting out of the sentry box. HS wd be a sandbag. Great route.

Easy is the VS grade but good quality climbing with good protection.
I climbed this by pulling out of the sentry box quite early on and going up the face, easy after the first couple of scary moves. My mate tried to climb right up into the sentry box but then got pumped trying to oull out. |
