The Rib

8m. From a block climb the centre of the protruding rib, passing just to the left of the nose by a couple of strenuous pulls on 'crimpy' holds.

I found this route to be surprisingly satisfying. Not sure about the grade though. I forgot my rock shoes, but still found it to be much easier than the grade suggests. The right hand arete at 4c seemed over graded as well.

left hand side was one move then easy to the top, low 5a i thought, right hand side easier

I'd go along with Rob, I think.
Ander - 18/Aug/03

quality route - commiting crank up on holds not easily seen from below - adequate protection if you are inventive though. No harder than 5a
Punter Hitch - 24/Aug/03

All over after the first move, but a good move though. Think the gear I put in would have hurt me more than soloing it if I'd fallen off! Good confidence builder.
