8m. Climb the flake or the slab just left and make a tricky move to pass the overhang and gain the wall above. Finish more easily up the face. The gear is rather spaced - care required.

The lack of solid gear placements tends to lend this route to a higher grade but low in technicality. Good hand holds when lacking in feet and vica versa.

Didn't find any small friend placements, but then I don't have any small friends, and didn't need any on that section anyway. It's not so much 'more easily' as just 'easily'.

No arguments about 4b to get past the overhang, but was a bit surprised to find it somewhat unprotected. I stuck a sling on the ledge beneath the overhang, which I think *might* have protected me from groundfall - but I wasn't quite sure! It's a one move wonder route, as a 1* Severe it's a little bold, but no way is it HS..
