16m. The elegant arete is superb but slightly harder for shorties. Make a tricky start to reach the first break then tackle the arete above by some hard laybacking. Friends in the second break may permit a long scraping fall to be taken. The last reach will remain in your memory for a long time! Said to be low in the grade. USER COMMENTS
the best route on the roaches, feels very exposed.
Totally superb! It would be a really long fall if you blew the final reach at the top of the arete.
It is a really long fall when you blow the moves to the break! - you still don't reach the ground though, just.
Bottom end, maybe E5 a la On Peak Rock?
bench E6 really (onsight, of course TomB) i know of one person who exploded their knee on the fall from the last move!
mmmmm. Sorry, had a go at top-roping this and descided the final arete was impossible. Is this harder than other roaches slabby 6b's or am I just crap at rockclimbing?
Not good enough to lead it if your profile suggests worked E3 for top grade.
Ok, so we've established I'm crap, but is it hard at the technical grade?
re;col-no
