Route Grade Votings

Adjacent Routes 14m. Starting in the gully, traverse left above the overhang then climb the wall and the well-positioned rib. Not well-protected, rather polished, and can be green; care required by fledglings. Not in current guidebook. USER COMMENTS
A scary climb which may be Severe if in perfect nick (it rarely is)
first reliable gear is practically at the top. polished to boot.
No decent gear, sustained hard/precarious moves, I was absolutely terrified! VS 4b perhaps.
Seemed OK for a traditional S. There is gear, it isn't very good in the low areas, but you can put three pieces in fairly low down the middle section if you willing to be patient, after that the gear improves a lot. Definately not more than 4a climbing tho. - Woker -
err i soloed this on sight and though the grade about correct - maybe HS. If it thought it was VS 4b i wouldnt have gone near it.
This route is actually given HS 4a in the guidebook which is probably a better grade.
i think small wires and micro cams may aid in protection.
I tried all sorts of gear in those cracks and couldn't get anything to stay in. They look good from the ground but aren't. |
