Hooray!!! I can climb like Joe Brown. I had to use a point of aid too, to pull through the roof. The finishing crack has some great jams, but was seriously scary as it became offwidth. take a full set of cams 2-4 it just keeps getting bigger.
Don't do this in shorts! Take big gear for the top. It's harder than it looks from the ground.
Good fun. A bit of patience required placing gear at the start, bit well worth doing and easier than it looks from the floor.
Don't block the initial crack with friends, there's a very good nut placement available instead - this allows you to use the holds properly |
