6m. A good extension to any of the Tower Face routes. The tiny but intense left-hand arete of the face feels bold and very exposed. The potential fall is daunting! USER COMMENTS
Worth E2 or at least a reachy symbol. As much hard climbing as on Tower Face direct and lot more exposed.
Definately intimadating leaving the ledge. A tricky little number but a real gem, probably worth more than one star.
I only seconded this, yet its possibly my favorite route on the edge (of quite a few!)
Ended up totally gripped on this route did but loved it all the same, should get more stars, maybe they should switch the grades of Tower Face Direct and this though.
I tried this on friday 13th june and fell off and broke my ankle. Thanks Phil for getting me down. The trouble I had was the long final reach, and at five foot six i could not make it and my feet popped off.
A very difficult route to grade. Short, solid, good, intimidating and bold. A horrid landing. Perhaps only 5a. |
