12m. Climb the small wall right of centre using undercuts (good Friend) and poor holds to reach easier ground by a long stretch. Finish rapidly up the final wall. USER COMMENTS
E4?? anyone of roughly average height will find this about E2/3. E4 is way off when you compare it to neighbouring Cardinals Treasure, theres about 2 grades difference. Excellent route though......
My first "E4", but I'd have to be honest and vote for E3 5c I think :( Still a great little route though, and solid gear.
E3 5c bang on.
first e4 as well found it quite easy and safe fell first attempt got straight back on and waltz'd up it very nice first e4 but very soft touch not a great intro i dont think!
Don't worry, it will get E3 in the next edition!
soft touch E4 but extremely satisfying. thought the move was great and above a bomber friend 1
there is no way this would get E2, the move is quite a tough 6a move (especially for short arses like me) but granted there is only one hard move. E3 6a i think
Yeah, this is a little gem of a microroute - take a friend 1. Would be 'old skool' E2 6a but I guess E3 6a might be fair due to the effective solo of some 4cish moves after the crux.
The moves after reaching the "ledge" are much less than 4c. E3 6a is fair but whilst it says E4 up here that's what I'm writing in my book ;) Would be a nice E4 if it had one or two more moves of 6a, or maybe if the first 1/3 wasn't a pathway. A good route nonetheless!
i solo's this on sight and thought it was easier than e4 but the landing aint nice
Yorkshire E2
agree with brown. E2 5c/6a depending on reach. |
