8m. The delicate right side of the right-hand arete of the valley face is scary, protection is poor but it's worth taking a rope along! USER COMMENTS
Beautiful final stretch but easily escapable - and protectable!
Technical bold lower section followed by easier safer top section. Worth roping up for, the top out is no pushover.
Erm, no. 3 5a moves, a 5b move, some gear and a couple of 4c moves. It's a nice route but it isn't E3!
somebody is doing something wrong somwhere because that is not E3. Compare it to wall end slabs!
I was told WTW went up the front face and that way it feels VERY E3!
I voted for easy E3 for this route... but don't let that encourage you too much. I reckon the hard move is top end 5b/easy 5c and when you're doing it you definitely get the feeling that if you fluff it you're in for quite an uncontrolled fall onto quite a nasty landing . Moves are definitely harder than Great Slab for example. Good route though. |
