16m. Climb the steep arete with the nose being passed on the left. FA. George Bower early 1920s

A shame there's no option to vote for 4 stars!

Good route, good crag. Bypassing the nose and going up from there is 'fun'.
Jonathan T - 02/Sep/04

A substantial route with a steep start, steady wall climbing, a committing and tricky crux (getting a little polished), and an exposed finale. Good value!
Fiend - 03/Sep/04

Only seconded this, but my leader confirmed that there's is good gear exactly where needed.
Felt quite substained. Nice route.

This is pretty challenging compared to other HS I have climbed and all the better for it. Had a bit of an epic with my less experienced second but don't worry, we are still together.
joe - 06/May/05

Brilliant route, you certainly get your money's worth. Sustained, absorbing with exposure thrown in as well..deserves all it's three stars, fantastic.
Phil D - 22/Sep/06

Superb route and worth the stars, and worth taking a 'third' to get the pictures across the valley; but I wouldn't dissagree with MVS 4c.
