12m. Balance up the slab to less precarious ground and a short crack.
what a brilliant route! the crux is unprotected but thoroughly absorbing...should be on everyone's hit list.
How can a 12 metre unprotected 5c route be E1?
well, the crux moves are on the lower slab and are, as the man says, unprotected. they're not that high up in reality, and the rest is steady away 5b.
Green. Poor landing.
Brilliant route, steady and delicate grit slab climbing. The lower slab holds the real crux of the route above that and above the o'er lap, its plain sailing. Another one for the gritstone slab appentice's tick list. Nice solo!
